Hi welcome to our website, let me share who we are and what makes us tick.
My name is Steve “Lefty” to most, I am a Columbia native and graduated from Hickman High School – class of 1985. I began roofing in 1985 and took a short 3 year break to work as an apprentice with Mid-Missouri Electric. After realizing that I wanted to own my own business, I went back to roofing. I co-started the company Righty & Lefty’s Roofing in 1996 with a family partner. After 11 successful years in that partnership, I decided to venture out in a new direction with my wife and we created Lefty’s Quality Roofing & Construction in 2005.
What makes me tick – my two sons, Dalton and Austin and of course my wife Tiffany. We have been married for 27 years, but soul mates for over 30 years. Both of our son’s work with the company when they can. Currently, you will see Dalton on the site often as he is the foreman. Austin is working on getting his degree in Secondary Education. We couldn’t be any prouder of our boys!
We, as a family feel it is important to volunteer and give back to the community as much as possible. You will see us volunteering our time with groups like Home’s for our Troops and riding our motorcycle for the Central Missouri Honor Flights. We are also involved in animal welfare, if you need help getting your dog/cat spay or neuter, just let us know and we will connect you with the right folks!
In today’s crazy world we are very blessed to be where we are today. If you choose our company to do your work, know that we are very proud of the work we do, we strive to offer quality and honesty on every job.
